DESCRIPTION:Join the collaboration of Kentucky Heartwood\, SAWS (Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards)\, and the Forest Service for a day clearing downed trees in Beaver Creek Wilderness. As a federally designated wilderness area\, we must use traditional tools like the crosscut saw\, handsaw\, and ax to remove trees from the trail corridor. No experience required\, only a willingness to do some fun and hard work outside!
